Faringdon Infant School - Covid during half term update
Dear Parents & Carers,
Important information regarding COVID contact tracing during the holidays.
For the purposes of contact tracing, it is important that we are made aware of any children developing
COVID symptoms or receiving a positive COVID test during October half term.
Since the office will not be staffed to take calls during this time, we are asking that you please contact us via the
school office email address in the event that you need to contact us for this purpose. This will be checked throughout the week, allowing us to contact other affected children, families or staff if a case arises during this time.
The email address is office@fis.faringdonlearningtrust.org
Thank you for your co-operation and we hope you have an enjoyable break.

Dear Parents/Carers,
Our Induction practice this year has again been very different to our usual way of working due to Covid 19. We are keen to gather your views about our Induction into school, taking into account the limitations for this school year and would like to hear of any areas where you think we could improve. Your opinions will help to inform the school’s decisions for future induction.

COVID-19 Reminder
Dear Parents/Carers,
It is absolutely imperative that if your child, or anyone in your household begins to show any symptoms of Covid 19, you must not bring your child to school.
If this should happen, please telephone to inform us as soon as possible so that we can review everyone's safety. Your child (or the symptomatic person) will need to get a COVID-19 PCR test as soon as possible.
In the event that anyone on site begins to show symptoms of the virus, they will be taken to a separate isolation area. Here they will be supported by staff wearing Personal Protective Equipment until they are able to leave. You will be informed as soon as possible if there are any confirmed cases of Covid 19 in school.
Thank you for continuing to support us to work safely in school.
