Each year group works slightly differently. The timetables below will give you an idea of what happens in the school day and when. The timetables can vary to ensure that exciting events, visitors and activities are part of our curriculum.

Sunflower is our Nursery Class for 3 - 4 year olds. Children attend morning or afternoon sessions but sometimes wrap around care is available; this is dependent on numbers registered.

Timings shown are for morning and afternoon sessions

During indoor/outdoor provision there is a balance of adult focus activities and child initiated play using our continuous provision. This varies through the week to reflect the children’s interests and the week’s planned learning outcomes. There are also planned times for support and interventions as needed.

The children also have two lunchtime sessions in school. They will have the opportunity to purchase a hot school dinner or bring a packed lunch from home. The lunchtime stay is arranged to be convenient for parents in consultation with the school.

Reception Classes

There are three Reception Classes - Apple, Chestnut and Hazel. The timetable shown gives you an idea of their busy day.

In Year 1, there are three classes - Pine, Rowan and Holly. The timetable shows the kinds of things that happen in the week.

The classes in Year 2 are Willow, Maple and Cherry.
In Key Stage 1 which is Year 1 and 2, there are times when children are withdrawn from class to work with teachers or teaching assistants for extra support, intervention or challenge -  depending upon their need.
